Anoche, dos aviones F-15 israelíes atacaron una base aérea siria en los alrededores de Homs. Los aviones atacantes atravesaron la frontera norte de El Líbano. Más de una docena de muertos y varios heridos; algunas de las bajas eran de nacionalidad iraní. Esto agrega una tensión adicional a un cuadro de extremada gravedad. Recuérdese que la NATO viene azuzando el fantasma de un supuesto ataque químico de las fuerzas sirias en la Guta Oriental. Si hubo o si hay un ataque de estas características, este provendrá de las milicias islámicas; desde hace más de una semana Rusia viene avisando que se prepara un evento "false flag" como pretexto para una invasión occidental a Siria. Texto: El ataque contra una base aérea siria en la provincia de Homs fue llevado a cabo por dos aviones F-15 de la Fuerza Aérea de Israel, informa el Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia. Esas aeronaves israelíes lanzaron ocho misiles guiados contra la base Tiyas (T-4).
"Este 9 de abril, dos aviones F-15 de la Fuerza Aérea de Israel, sin entrar en el espacio aéreo sirio, realizaron un ataque con ocho misiles guiados contra el aeródromo T-4 desde el territorio de Líbano. Las unidades de defensa aérea de las Fuerzas Armadas Sirias lograron destruir cinco misiles guiados", ha señalado el organismo ruso.
Las autoridades rusas han agregado que "tres misiles alcanzaron la parte occidental del aeródromo" y han aclarado que "entre los asesores rusos en Siria no hay afectados" por esa ofensiva.
Por su parte, la Embajada de Israel en Rusia se negó a comentar a RIA Novosti esta información que ha facilitado el Ministerio de Defensa ruso.
Un corresponsal de la cadena libanesa Al Mayadeen ya informó que un avión de reconocimiento de Israel fue detectado en el cielo en el momento en que se produjo el ataque con misiles contra la base T-4 de la Fuerza Aérea de Siria.
El Observatorio Sirio de los Derechos Humanos, citado por Haaretz, indicó que el ataque israelí dejó 14 muertos. Ese grupo de seguimiento con sede en el Reino Unido aseguró que entre las víctimas mortales había ciudadanos iraníes.

Texto: Russia and Syria say Israeli warplanes struck an air base in the Syrian province of Homs and that Syrian air defense systems shot down five of eight missiles fired.
The Interfax news agency cited the Russian Defence Ministry as saying Monday that two Israeli F-15 warplanes carried out strikes from Lebanese air space on the T-4 air base on Sunday.
"Two F-15 planes of the Israeli army hit the airbase between 03:25 am and 03:53 am Moscow time (0025 GMT and 0053 GMT) with the help of eight missiles controlled remotely from Lebanese territory, without entering Syrian air space," Russia’s Defense Ministry said.
The Russian military noted that Syrian air defense systems had shot down five of the eight missiles fired.
Earlier, Syria's official SANA news agency reported that the US was suspected of launching a missile attack on the T-4 military airport in Homs that killed and wounded several people after US President Donald Trump promised a “big price” to be paid for what he said was a chemical weapons attack in the Arab country.
The Syrian state media later reported that the deadly attack was carried out by Israeli warplanes.
"The Israeli attack on the T-4 airport was carried out with F-15 aircraft that fired several missiles from above Lebanese territory," a Syrian military source was quoted by SANA.
The US and France had vowed a "strong, joint response" to the allegation of the chemical attack, which came in the wake of the Syrian Army's push to drive out last remnants of terrorists from Douma.
Tensions mount amid Syria 'chemical attack'
Tensions are escalating between the US and Russia as Washington says Moscow “ultimately bears responsibility for these brutal attacks,” in reference to a reported chemical attack the US blames on the Syrian government.
The alleged chemical attack on Saturday in the militant-held town of Douma in the Eastern Ghouta region left dozens dead and drew international condemnation from various countries and international bodies.
Damascus, in a statement released late on Saturday, strongly rejected the allegation of using chemical munitions and said that the so-called Jaish al-Islam Takfiri terrorist group, which has dominant presence in Douma, was repeating the accusations “in order to accuse the Syrian Arab army, in a blatant attempt to hinder the Army’s advance.”
Moscow also rejected the accusations against the Syrian government as bogus reports and warned of consequences of an attack on Damascus.
Lavrov: Strike 'a very dangerous development'
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Monday that Russian specialists had found no trace of a chemical attack on Douma.
"Our military specialists have visited this place... and they did not find any trace of chlorine or any other chemical substance used against civilians," he said.
He also said that a strike on the Syrian air base was a "very dangerous development."
"I hope at least that the US military and those of the countries participating in the coalition led by the United States understand that," Lavrov told a press conference.
Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy since March 2011. The Syrian government says the Israeli regime and its Western and regional allies are aiding Takfiri terrorist groups that are wreaking havoc in the country.
Over the past few years, the Israeli military has launched sporadic attacks against various targets on Syrian soil, in assaults slammed by Syria as attempts to boost terrorist groups who have been suffering heavy defeats on the battlefield with Syrian government forces.
The latest such attacks took place on February 20, when Israeli warplanes bombed a Syrian army facility in central Syria. The Syrian military shot down at least one Israeli F-16 returning from the bombing raid.
The Syrian military targets at least one Israeli F-16 warplane that attacked Syrian territory, hitting it and sending it down in flames and smoke.
On several occasions, the Syrian army has confiscated Israeli-made arms and military equipment from militants fighting pro-Damascus forces. Israel has also been providing medical treatment to the extremist militants wounded in Syria.
